            Directorate for protecting the rights and safety of women and children

The purpose

By enforcing the laws, decrees, regulations, agreements and polices issued to protect the rights and safety of women and children, as well as by providing support and care to children, it is to ensure their social physical and psychological safety and ensure their participation.

The begin and end of the directorate

 Begin: Receiving petitions and requests for support and care from women and children who have suffered rights violations 

 End: Providing Psychological and supportive care services.

                                      The services given by the directorate

  • Conducting research on the problems and needs seen in terms of making access to services provided to protect the rights and safety of women and children.

  • Collecting resources to benefit children who are vulnerable and in difficult situations through community-wide support and care services and ensure that they are distributed fairly to the beneficiaries.

  • To recruit, train, record and prepare and provide legal contract documents for families who are willing to receive foster care or shelter for abandoned and vulnerable children.

  • To reintegrate those who are at risk of problems due to various reasons, who are displaced, who have migrated, who are out on the streets and who are exposed to a difficult life to their families and who are willing to return to the society; 

  • Children who are over 14 years of age and cannot join the family, identify the required income-generating work fields and coordinate with the relevant parties to get vocational skills training and engage them in work; 

  • Various implementations; teacher Inform them of their rights by preparing training and movement creation documents

  • To prepare and implement operating guidelines that will help maintain the quality and fairness of support and care activities for children who are at risk of problems and are in difficult situations.

  • Works to establish and strengthen children's parliaments to help children participate.

  • It works to protect the rights and safety of children by creating cooperation and coordination platforms with institutions/organizations working around children.

  • Collecting, organizing and analyzing women and children-oriented information about justice and performance gaps, informing the relevant parties and disseminating it to users. 

  • To prepare and review the standards for child care facilities. 

  • To monitor, support and ensure that the necessary measures are taken if they have problems.

  • Different sexes on children in day care; Follow up and take legal action when physical and psychological attacks are committed.

  • Providing support and care services by establishing and strengthening temporary institutions where children who have been subjected to illegal trafficking and labor exploitation for various reasons, who have been subjected to severe social crisis, can stay until they go to permanent services or are reunited with their families.

  • To manage the centers established to provide rehabilitation and development counseling services and make children benefit from them. 

  • Providing psychological counseling services to children who have moral problems and are in conflict with their families by establishing community-wide counseling service centers or centers at every level in the community.

  • Providing support and care to vulnerable children and children's families by facilitating access to indirect credit services. 

  • Spreading the best practice in protecting the rights and safety of women and children. 

  • Monitoring, evaluating and giving feedback on the implementation of projects designed to protect the rights and safety of children.

  • Working in coordination with stakeholders so that children with special needs can get different options for rehabilitation, support and care.

  • Helping women who have been assaulted and need support to reach a decision by arguing in court.

  • Help children who have been subjected to illegal trafficking, labor and other violence to get a decision by arguing in court.

  • To ensure that the rights of women and children are respected by celebrating festivals celebrated to protect the rights and safety of women.

  • Preparing and implementing judicial consultation forums involving stakeholders regarding violence against women and children.

  • Conduct conciliation and arbitration to prevent family breakdown.
